Program Overview
This 35 credit Career Transition Program provides a way to make a career changes into the field of law enforcement. It has been designed to accommodate:
- Persons re-entering the educational system due to life changes
- Persons fresh out of college wishing to make a career field change
- Military personnel wishing to make a career change or just exploring the possibilities of a change
The curriculum contains both the academics and hands-on skills training required to meet the MN Peace Officers Standards & Training licensing requirements. This program is designed to meet individual needs and can be completed in as little as 26 weeks on-site or 42 weeks online.
Qualifications
- The student must have been granted an Associates Degree or higher from an accredited college.
- The student must acknowledge having been advised of the requirements to enter into the summer skills training portion. Click here for form.
