Practical Nursing Program Scholarship

• Amount: $150 - $300
• Semester Awarded: Fall and Spring
• Criteria: Current student showing progress toward completion of 1st semester, demonstrates leadership qualities in classroom, shows respect for peers, clients, and staff

Dick & Karen Johnson Honorary Scholarship

• No. of Scholarships: 1
• Amount: $1000
• Semester Awarded: Fall
• Criteria: Non-traditional nursing student who works in the nursing field (preference given to students from Starbuck, or surrounding area)

Doris Capp Memorial Scholarship

• No. of Scholarships: 1
• Amount: $200
• Semester Awarded: Fall
• Criteria: Current student who portrays a caring attitude, age 30 or older (preference given to those who have children)

Mike and Ann Good Honorary Scholarship

• No. of Scholarships: 1
• Amount: $200
• Semester Awarded: Fall and Spring
• Criteria: Current student, 2.5 GPA, demonstrate financial need in the essay

• Fall Scholarships (February 1 - April 2) Due April 2, 2012

1. Create a STARS Online account. (first time only)
2. Complete the application by following instructions given.
3. Attach the required documentation.
4. Notification letters will be emailed to applicants within 4 weeks of the deadline. (exception: Re-entering Adult Scholarship)
