The Testing Center offers the following:

ACCUPLACER: ACCUPLACER is a computerized, un-timed placement test. Test results do not affect a student's acceptance. This test allows the college staff to work with students to help them be successful in their college education.

College Level Examination Program (CLEP): CLEP is a way for a student to earn credit for what the student already knows. CLEP tests offer individuals the chance to demonstrate knowledge that they have gained independently and earn credit. The Testing Center will provide information and administer the CLEP examinations to interested students.

Computer Test-out

DSST (DANTES Subject Standardized Test): The Testing Center is an authorized DSST internet-based testing center. The DSST Program gives you the opportunity to receive college credit for learning acquired outside the traditional college classroom. Use DSSTs to help you earn your degree, get a promotion, or simply demonstrate that you have college-level knowledge in subjects relevant to your work. The Testing Center will administer the DSST examinations to interested persons.

Microsoft Office Specialist (MOS) / IC3: The Testing Center is certified for Certiport testing and administers the Microsoft Office Specialist and IC3 certification exams.

ACT Center: The Testing Center is an authorized ACT Center. As an ACT Center, Alexandria Technical & Community College delivers computer-based certification exams.
