Career as a Medical Laboratory Technician...

The Freshman year includes Fall and Winter Semesters and May term.The first eight weeks of the Sophomore Fall Semester arealso at the College.

Body Fluid Analysis

Phlebotomy

Hematology

Chemistry

Microbiology

Immunology

Immunohematology

Students also learn the theories and principles behind the tests they perform and learn to correlate the results with patients’ conditions.

Students also earn credits in general education, leading to an Associate in Applied Science degree.

Upon completion of the program’s classroom phase, students spend 28 weeks in a clinical learning experience at a hospital in Minnesota or North Dakota.
